How to write a term paper in 2 weeks

Writing a term paper is something that many students are stressed out over. It really doesn’t have to be as hard as you make it out to be. When you have 2 weeks left to write your paper, that is plenty of time. You just need to make sure you’re using your time wisely and have divided out all the things you need to do by what day you’re going to do them on. Writing a paper like this is a lot like making a schedule for any other project. Here are some tips on making yours and how to stays on track.

  1. Look at everything you need to do. With the instructions from your teacher as well as reading any textbooks or other materials, make a list of each task you have to do such as “make outline” and “research online”
  2. Now it’s time to make your schedule. The easiest way to do this is print off a calendar page for the current month and write down your job shifts, religious activities, sports games, dates, family activities, and classes so you can see how much time you have leftover
  3. Count up the hours. If you add all your free time together, how many hours do you actually have in these 2 weeks? Go back to your list from step 1 and estimate how much time each task might take you, and then compare it with your available hours
  4. What to do if you find yourself short on time. If your hours are less than the estimated time it will take you, think about some of your schedule activities that you might be able to cancel or postpone. Also, make sure that when you’re home you are really working on this term paper and not wasting time.
  5. Get to work!Once you have your schedule all laid out, make sure you stick to it. The whole purpose of these steps is for you to always know exactly what you need to do when you sit down to work. Taking the guesswork out of it will not only save you time, but keep you more focused.

It can be surprisingly easy to write a term paper when you have a plan. You can also use these steps for essays and other homework. Staying organized and making a schedule really help more than you might think.
